In 1999 a group of friends decided that it’d… yeah it’d be a great idea to get together — take a camera and just start filming random shit that ended up becoming a huge collection of short films, bits of insanity, and a lot of avant-garde cinema pieces.
It all came to a head when they embarked on their final project “The Last Good Time” — in what became a culmination of an entire years worth of goofing off, a 30 minute short film came to be and was paraded around a few film festivals. After that The Duck Club disappeared forever.
Ten years later, Steve gets in touch with Chris Deppe and inquires about the master tapes for The Duck Club. With one simple idea in mind — lets remaster them. Re-Edit them. and Release them to the internet. The only problem was Chris had no clue where the tapes were… a year later he finally found them and The Duck Club Archives were born.
They currently are in the hands of Steve — and he works as much as humanly and mentally possible on re-editing every film– and the main project of FINISHING The Last Good Time – for a Special Edition DVD Release.
